A garage conversion is a small project with a lot of technical traps. The slab sits below house floor level with no membrane under it. Single-skin walls need lining without losing the room. Covenant, planning and party wall checks are part of the free survey. If your project has a legal snag, you find out before spending money, not after.

Honest about value

If converting your garage would hurt your resale — losing the only parking on a tight street — we'll tell you, and suggest the partial option or none at all.
